Proven vs trusted
Two kinds of cleared step — and we never blur them.
Some actions a platform's API hands straight back to us, so we know they happened. Others it won't read at all. We label both honestly, every time, so your CRM tells the truth.
Soft / attested
The API won’t read the action back — a SoundCloud repost, for instance. The fan clicks through and confirms; we record it as best-effort and mark it as attested, never as a proven verify.

No setup needed
Email is the floor — and it needs none of this.
The email step has no ID to find and no platform to connect. It runs a real double-opt-in: the fan confirms from their inbox, and only then are they on your list. That capture works on day one, with every platform step above switched off. The connections here are add-ons — the owned list is the part nothing can take.
